Living Wills FAQs

Do I have to notarize my living will?

Because of the severity of the living will document and the important decisions that are outlined within it, LegalZoom recommends that you have it notarized and signed by witnesses. However, your witnesses do not need to appear with you at the notary unless you are signing the document at that time.
