Brian Liu, Chairman and Co-Founder Brian Liu, Co-Founder and Chairman of LegalZoom, was formerly a corporate attorney with Sullivan & Cromwell, a prominent "Wall Street" law firm based in New York. He has extensive experience in initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law. In addition, Mr. Liu was formerly assistant Vice President - Legal with Oaktree Capital Management, LLC, a leading Los Angeles-based investment adviser with over $35 billion of assets under management. Mr. Liu graduated from U.C. Berkeley Phi Beta Kappa and with honors in Biochemistry. He received his Law Degree from UCLA School of Law. |

John Suh, Chief Executive Officer John Suh, CEO of LegalZoom, is a serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in the Internet space. Most recently, he served as CEO of StudioDirect, the Internet division of $6B global supply chain leader, Li and Fung. Within 48 hours of Mr. Suh presenting to over 100 analysts, $250M was raised to assist StudioDirect in targeting the small business segment. As co-founder and CEO of Castling Group, he took a leading role in helping offline companies create their Internet divisions, launching category leaders such as jcrew.com, hifi.com, and giftcertificates.com. Mr. Suh received a B.A. in Organizational Behavior and Public Policy from Harvard College and received his MBA with high distinction at Harvard Business School, graduating as a George F. Baker Scholar. |

Frank Monestere, President and COO Frank Monestere, President and Chief Operating Officer of LegalZoom, brings a strong mix of business acumen and operational leadership to the team. As a management consultant with Greencastle Consulting, he used his substantial experience in designing and implementing business strategies and large-scale program management for former clients Comcast Communications and Time Warner Cable. Prior to that, he served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Special Forces. Mr. Monestere graduated top 10% in his class with a B.S. in International Relations from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where his studies focused on operations strategy and management. |

Eddie Hartman, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder Eddie Hartman, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of LegalZoom, was formerly the Senior Vice President for Technology of XCEED International (NASDAQ: XCED). His responsibilities included integrating XCEED's existing technology base; setting all direction for new applications; and managing the technical strategy for clients ranging from CBS to FirstAuction (the Home Shopping Network's web presence) to the United States Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Hartman is the author of XCEED's internal technology strategy and is the author of two web-based applications, MajorFind and Megaphone. Mr. Hartman received a B.A. in Computer Science from Yale University. |

He is currently a partner of Chistensen, Glaser, Fink, Jacobs, Weil & Shapiro, LLP, a full-service law firm with approximately 120 attorneys (no relationship with LegalZoom). Mr. Shapiro has over 31 years of legal experience and has served as counsel in United States of America v. Samango, People v. Christian Brando and People v. O.J. Simpson. Mr. Shapiro is the author of "For the Defense" (Loyola Law Review, November 1996), "The Search For Justice: A Defense Attorney's Brief on the O.J. Simpson Case" (1996) and "When The Press Calls: A Lawyer's View" (California Litigation, Fall 1991). |

Michael Turner, Chief Marketing Officer Michael Turner, Chief Marketing Officer, has a deep background in direct marketing and establishing and growing successful Internet businesses. Prior to joining LegalZoom he held leadership positions at Teleflora (a B2B floral wire service and B2C Internet retailer), PC Connection, Brookstone and The Franklin Mint. Earlier in his career he was a commodity trader for Cargill and a strategy consultant for McKinsey. Mr. Turner graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Northwestern University with a BA in Economics and Geography, and received his MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School. |

Chas Rampenthal, General Counsel and VP of Product Development Chas Rampenthal, General Counsel and Vice President of Product Development, brings experience in general corporate, partnership, venture capital and securities law to the LegalZoom Team. Before joining LegalZoom, he was a founding partner of Belanger and Rampenthal LLC and was an associate at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP of Boston, Massachusetts and the Los Angeles office of Thelen Reid & Priest LLP. Prior to that, Mr. Rampenthal gained significant leadership and management experience as an officer and aviator in the United States Navy. Mr. Rampenthal received his B.S. in Economics and Math Studies summa cum laude from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California. Mr. Rampenthal is admitted to practice law in both California and Massachusetts. |
