Smashmouth Consulting was developed specifically with the retailer in mind! Our overall goal is motivating retail clients towards the powerful utilization of virtual commerce strategies based on the strength of eBay selling. To that end, Smashmouth Consulting consults, analyzes and develops specific sales channels for the purpose of additional revenue generation via eBay and the Internet. Founded on thorough research and analysis, Smashmouth Consulting initially delves deeply into each of its client’s products, paying close attention to the numerous variables that may impact on selling efforts on eBay How did you start your company? As a husband and wife partnership we have a great deal of passion about eBay as well as an understanding for teaching retailers how to use eBay. At the early stages of our company we ourselves successfully sold countless items on eBay and quickly saw an exciting opportunity by advocating eBay to other retailers. As we focused heavily on providing outstanding customer service we maintained 100% positive feedback. In fact, the process was so rewarding and financially lucrative with sales efforts on eBay that we effectively supported our family, which consisted of a newborn and a 2-year-old son. Having acquired inventory through local retailers we eventually saw the exciting opportunity for retailers who were not yet utilizing eBay as a powerful sales channel. What or who inspired you to go into business for yourself?As a young couple, my wife Marigrace and I are visionaries who believe that through technology we can create an exciting company that allows us to live the life we dream about while helping other companies succeed in a like manner. It is our dream to spend more time with our two young children, create a more rewarding future for our family and show others how to do the same. What were some of the startup hurdles you overcame? To be honest, we are still overcoming many obstacles that get in the way of a forward thinking startup. Included is the lack of funding, fighting off criticism for taking risks as well as the many other challenges that face a young family. But the positive signs that support our efforts continue to outweigh the negative. Through it all, we are endlessly optimistic as we progress and believe this will ultimately be a very rewarding experience. How has LegalZoom helped you in starting up your business?
