Legalzoom is actively seeking an experienced attorney to write legal forms. This independent contractor will be creating and developing new legal forms and supplementary user guides for the company.

Legalzoom.com acts as a self-help legal document service under California law. We help consumers and small business owners prepare and file common, straight-forward legal documents. Therefore, our ideal candidate must be smart and detailed, yet also have a breadth of legal experience. We require 2 -4 years of legal practice, preferably at a large firm. Non-legal business experience is a plus.

Additionally, our ideal candidate must be able to translate legal jargon and difficult legal concepts into plain English. The ability to think about the law from the viewpoint of a consumer is essential for success in this position.
