Job Description:

LegalZoom.com is seeking an experienced Web Production Assistant to join our Marketing team. You will be responsible for the workflow of day-to-day web projects between design and development with the goal of seeing these projects through to timely production. This includes collecting the necessary assets, creating technical specifications, maintaining thorough documentation, and giving progress reports. The Web Production Assistant will also assist with the production of our monthly newsletter and should have strong writing and editing skills. HTML knowledge is a plus.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day web production, project prioritization and scheduling
• Work with various internal departments and outside resources to ensure smooth workflow and constant progress of web projects
• Prepare detailed technical specs using existing templates
• Track progress of projects
• QA projects before release
• Organize delivery of newsletter content with freelance writers
• Edit content for style and errors

• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and ensure consistent quality in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent project management skills
• Exceptional communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding grammar skills
• Ability to perform in a self-managed environment - must be a self-starter
• Knowledge of web best practices
• Working knowledge of HTML
