I have a question?? The employee of a local gas station in my town refused to sell me tobacco products. I was going to buy it for a friend who forgot his I.D. at home. My friend went to buy it first but had forgotten he didnt have his I.D. on him. Soo they refused him service, but when i presented my I.D. they also refused me service, saying i was buying it for someone else and had every right to refuse service to whoever so they pleased. I was wondering is that legal to do?? They had no idea if i was going to give it to him or have it for my own personal use. Could that be discriminating against me for an assumption they had on the matter at hand??
