I owned a business iin 2003, 2004 and 2005. I filed bankruptcy October 14, 2005 before the new bankruptcy law. I was told I could not file bankruptcy on my companies sales taxes. I just had a real estate agent and a Loan officer in a mortgage company tell me that I CAN write off or make an ammendment to my bankruptcy and include my sales tax issues. They told me that I could not write off Withholding tax issues but sales taxes that were not paid by my former accountant can be. Is this true?
