I was contracted by G4S Security on 26 September as DOD School Bus Monitor on Okinawa Japan.
I took MEDICAL EXAMS + INCULATION at ADVENTIST MEDICAL CENTER at a cost about $ 200.00
took and passed LIFE GUARD TEST $ 35.00
Attended 3 day TRAINING CLASSES, was paid by G4S $ 175.00
I was issued Base Passes on 21 September for Kadena A.B. and Marine corps Bases.
On 22 Sept,Iook 1 day "RIDE ALONG" ORIENTATION( was paid $93.00)
On my return that day, I was given a "WORK SCHEDULE" for 26- 28-29-30 Sept 11
On 23 SEPTEMBER 2011 was told by Mr.Sibley ( Supervisor) I did not qualify for the job and to turn in my company jacket
I REQUESTED "A 30 days written notice as per contract
On 26 Sept. 11 Went to the G4S Office demanding a copy of the contract( ODLY SIGNED THAT DAY)
Mr, Sibley told me "He was waiting on a "STATESIDE SECUTITY CLEARANCE, and after some more training would put me back on SCHEDULE.
On 16 October 11 I WENT BACK TO INQUIRE ABOUT MY STATUS.
Mr. Sibley told me I was put "ON STANDBY" and report within 30 Minutes of his call. " TURN IN YOUR BASE PASSES" i DECLINED TILL ALL APPEALS ARE EZHAUSTED, I handed him an appeals letter. Company Grievance rules.( NO REPLY)
On 28 October I addressed A LETTER to Mr. Hunter(Nr.1) On Okinawa: No Reply
On Nov. 17 I "E Mailed" Mr. Costello ( Nr.2) In Korea H.Q. G4S Far East. IMMEDITE REPLY" He had held up my hiring as THE PARENT COMPANY G4S IN LONDON GAS A MANDATORY RETIREMENT POLICY at age 65 and now are enforcing it here also. I replied their Contract was not with the Brittish but the US Goverment AND THE WERE KEEN ON equal opportunity etc.
On 21 Nov. 11 I "E" Mailed a final PETITION to : Mr.Steve CHON Director with attachments of all previous correspondence and he replied same day: " WHEN MrCOSTELLO GOT BACK FROM AN OVERSEAS TRIP, THEY WOULD ALL GET TOGETHER WITH Mr. SIBLEY,Mr. HUNTER AND DECIDE MT CASE.
I waited till after Christmas Vacation turnover hoping they would contact me. No FURTHER COMMUNICATIONS.
On 27 January 2012 I FILED A COMPLAINT OF "AGE DISCRIMINATION" with Mr BALDONADO, DIRECTOR OF EEOC at San Francisco.
I understand I CAN SUE IN ANY FEDERAL COURT but Okinawa comes under APO AP SAN FRANCISCO so this is in effect the nearest District oFFICE.
i KNOW i can file ELECTRONICALY and downkoaded tons of material,but it looks I might need a lawyer.
