About nine months ago, my mother left my family. She gave up custody of me without any reason at all. The past few months, my dad has become real sick; strokes, chf, heart attacks etc. The doctors told me he was dyeing. I am 16, and if something happens, i want to make sure that my mom doesn't get custody of me. I live in Michigan- is there anything i could do to guarantee that my mom doesn't get guardianship of me?
