My name is Rachel, I would like to adopt my nephew who has lived with me since he was two years old. He is now sixteen.
His mother, who is my sister, is agreeable to me adopting him. I believe his father is also agreeable to this.
I did contact a lawyer, however, I do not have $3500 they are asking for. I am on disability.
Can I do this myself since both parents are in agreement?
