My 2 year old escaped from my apartment at about 7pm. Naked of course and was reported in the parkinglot of the complex. The reporting person knew her and called police anyway. I was at work and my wife had to go drop off reports and had left our teen daughter in charge for the time she was gone.
The responding officer wasnt pleased with the appearance of the apt and told her that instead of calling DSS he would return two days later and inspect and if the house was clean he wouldnt persue the incident further.
Can he do that? If he can what actural rights do we have when he comes back to do his inspection/search?
