Two to three dollars a spot for run of schedule is, or at least should be the norm. I've done 1000 spots in Mobile, AL. on Comcast for $1,000.00. Yes, a buck a spot. When cable companies try to sell you "niche" marketing don't buy it. You can get just as much bang for your buck by getting frequency as you do numbers. Cable is very, very, watered down. Listen to my words from experience. This article is very pro-cable biased, and forgets to tell you it's all how you negotiate it. Sales reps are told to high ball you now, more than ever. Truct me.
