I used to have a living trust but was forced to cancel before filing bankruptcy. I have a house (25 more years to pay) and life insurance for so much. My questions: The value of the house depreciated, (1) what part of it is taxable and subject to probate when I pass away? (2) Is life insurance subject to tax and probate too? (3) Do I need to have these documents (a) power of attorney (b) living trust (c) living will, and (d) testamentary document created? (4) which of these documents should I have first and how much money do I need to have them done? Thank you and appreciate your help.
