I live in NYC and recently had an incident where the Brooklyn warrant squad came for my girlfriends son . The police asked if I had Identification which I replied no . They then told me that your suppose to have it . My question is can they take me to a police station if they can't verify I'm not the person there looking for? And what are my rights when it comes to that. Example: can they ask for I.d's for other males in the household even though they obviously don't fit the description on there paper? II would appreciate your response if possible . Thank you and god bless
