Be aware that with employees (even one other non-spousal) you will have to contribute the same amount (%) as you do for yourself - mentioned in the article but not really emphasized. This is a deal breaker for us ... So instead we go with a SIMPLE (for over 10 years) and are able to "just" give 2% to our eligible employees instead of the much higher SEP requirement of equal percentages for owners and employees. If it's just you and spouse - SEP is the choice.
