LLC Glossary
The name of the LLC must generally end with the words "Limited Liability Company," "Ltd. Liability Co.," "LLC" or "L.L.C." An LLC name will not be accepted if it is likely to mislead the public or if a similar name is already registered in the same state.
A person’s name may be used as part of the name of a limited liability company. However, the following words are restricted and should not be included in the LLC’s name:
Incorporated, corporation, corp. or inc.
Bank
Trust or trustee
Cooperative
Olympic or Olympiad
Insurer or insurance company
