Boston Red Sox pitcher John Lackey berated reporters following a doubleheader in New York on September 24, saying he received an inappropriate question about his divorce via a text message from a member of the press prior to the game.

Celebrity gossip site TMZ recently broke the news that Lackey filed to divorce his wife of nearly three years, Krista, who is battling breast cancer.

Tareq and Michaele Salahi, socialites who are notorious for gate-crashing the first state dinner thrown by the Obama White House and being featured on the Bravo reality show "Real Housewives of Washington, D.C.," are getting divorced. The 43-year-old Tareq recently filed to begin divorce proceedings on grounds of adultery and abandonment following revelations that 45-year-old Michaele left him for Journey guitarist Neal Schon.

While he is no doubt unhappy about the dissolution of his marriage, Tareq is likely relieved that he and Michaele signed a prenuptial agreement.

Actor and director Mel Gibson and his ex-girlfriend, Russian singer Oksana Grigorieva, recently reached a settlement in a contentious break-up battle.
