According to a recent study conducted by researchers at Cambridge University in the UK, those who have a positive, happy upbringing may be more likely to get divorced later in life, the Telegraph reports.

Christina Aguilera, who most recently sang the wrong lyrics of the national anthem at the Super Bowl, has reportedly finalized her divorce from Jordan Bratman, which ends the pair's marriage of five years, according to Fox News.

According to the news provider, because the couple did not originally file the divorce paperwork through the court, it will not be made official until April 15.

Court documents indicate that the pop singer and the music marketer have reached an agreement for joint custody of the couple's 3-year-old son Max, the news source reports.

Pop singer Ashlee Simpson has filed for divorce from former Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz after more than two years of marriage, according to People Magazine.

Simpson reportedly filed for the divorce citing irreconcilable differences and claimed there was no third party involved in the separation, according to a source close to the pair.

"It's very amicable. They're on very friendly terms and speaking – it's fine," the source told the magazine. "They've just grown apart.

Troy Aikman, the former Super Bowl-winning quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys, is separating from his wife Rhonda, reports People Magazine.

The pair married in 2000 and have two daughters together. Rhonda also has a daughter from a previous marriage.

"This has been a difficult decision for Rhonda and me, but after 10 years of marriage we have decided to separate," Troy Aikman told the Dallas Morning News.

Holly Lahti, an Idaho woman who recently won half of the Mega Millions lottery jackpot, may have to split the prize with her estranged husband because the pair never finalized their divorce, reports the Daily Mail.

The 29-year-old bank teller and mother of two married Joshua Lahti in 2011, but the source says that the couple separated several years afterward.

Joshua Lahti reportedly has been convicted of a number of offenses, including domestic battery, drug possession and buying alcohol for a minor.
