A state appeals court has ruled that Texas authorities must allow a divorce between two women who were married in Massachusetts, reports The Associated Press.

The women, Angelique Naylor and Sabina Daly, married in 2004 in Massachusetts, where same-sex marriage is legal.

U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow, a Democrat representing the state of Michigan, has finalized her divorce, reports the Detriot Free Press.

Stabenow, 60, married 49-year-old radio producer Tom Athans seven years ago. Athans is noted for his attempts to create liberal talk shows, including TalkUSA Radio.

The source reports that the divorce stemmed from an incident in February 2008, when Athans was arrested for solicitation of a prostitute.

"Desperate Housewives" actress Eva Longoria and San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker have mutually filed for divorce in separate states, according to ABC News.

Longoria was the first to file for divorce, claiming that the split stemmed from irreconcilable differences in a petition filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court. She requested that she revert from her current legal name - Eva Longoria Parker - to her maiden name of Eva Jacqueline Longoria.
