Hollywood director Douglas T. Green has sued "Reservoir Dogs" actor Michael Madsen, claiming that he took the director's money without fulfilling his contractual obligations on the set of a recent movie, reports TMZ.
The source reports that Green initially agreed to pay Madsen $20,000 to act in the movie "Vigilante." After production delays, Madsen reportedly requested that Green pay him an additional $20,000.
Green claims that he refused Madsen's demands and that the actor subsequently did not act in the movie, despite having taken the initial $20,000 payment. He is now suing the star for breach of contract and is seeking the return of his payment as well as an additional $100,000 in damages.
Madsen's representatives told the source that the actor will file a countersuit because he never received money he was owed on top of the original $20,000 payment.
According to the Internet Movie Database, "Vigilante" is about an employee of Child Protective Services who uses extralegal means to protect abused children. The movie stars Joe Estevez, Silvia Suvadova and Christina Jo'Leigh.
