Reality TV star and wife of Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian is the center of a recently filed lawsuit in which she's facing allegations of assault and battery.
According to the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Chantal Spears, who is a transgender woman previously known as Ronald Spears, alleges that Kardashian and 10 other defendants attacked her without provocation on December 5, 2009, at the Playhouse nightclub on Hollywood Boulevard.
The suit says that Kardashian and her associates struck the plaintiff violently multiple times in her body. Spears contends that the attack caused "extreme and severe mental anguish and physical pain," according to the website Eurweb.
Spears is alleging assault and battery and willful misconduct in the suit and is seeking an unspecified amount for general, exemplary and punitive damages, in addition to medical expenses and the cost of the lawsuit, according to the website Eurweb.
Representatives for Kardashian and Spears did not immediately respond to TMZ's request for comment.
The Kardashians have been hit with multiple lawsuits lately, with Khloe's older sister Kim being sued by multiple plaintiffs for a variety of reasons, including false advertisment.
