Mike Rowe, host of the Discovery Channel series "Dirty Jobs," was recently sued by a prisoner who shares the same name as the celebrity.
The prisoner asserted he had the name copyrighted earlier in the year, and that the celebrity has no rights to it and is tarnishing the prisoner's image, TMZ reported.
In the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, the prisoner alleged that his life has been a living hell behind bars and said, "I can't live here in prison without being called Dirty Jobs or Dirtiest Man. I am subject to this ridicule every day I live."
The prisoner also alleged he has a problem with Rowe's endorsements of Viva Towels and Lee Jeans. TMZ quoted the lawsuit as stating, "Lee Jeans states Mike Rowe wears Lee Jeans or [is] for them. I do not wear nor have ever worn Lee Jeans and further, I am not for them."
According to TMZ, the prisoner Mike Rowe is serving time for a DUI-related offense, but prison officials would not release any further details.
Mike Rowe's show "Dirty Jobs" has been on the air for seven seasons on the Discovery Channel.
