After months of rumors regarding a split between Deion Sanders and his wife, Pilar, the couple officially announced they are parting ways recently.

The couple was married in 1999, when Deion was a player for the Dallas Cowboys, but recently the two decided to end the marriage, stating it is in the best interest of them and their three children.

The 44-year-old Hall of Famer released a statement to fans to inform them about the divorce.

Vanessa Bryant, wife of NBA star Kobe Bryant, recently filed for divorce from the Los Angeles Lakers guard, citing irreconcilable differences.

The couple were married in 2001 and did not sign a prenuptial agreement, which means Vanessa could be entitled to half of Kobe's assets he's acquired over the past 10 years.

The star's wife filed legal documents December 16, in the midst of rumors of infidelity committed by Kobe.

'Big Pimpin' Lawsuit Goes to Trial

Rap artist Jay-Z was sued for unlawfully sampling an Egyptian song for his hit "Big Pimpin," and recently found out he'll be heading to court over the matter.

The lawsuit was filed by Osama Ahmed Fahmy, who co-owns the rights to his uncle Baligh Hamdy's song "Khosara, Khosara." Fahmy alleges the hit Jay-Z track produced by Timbaland used the melody of his uncle's song.

Jay-Z's record label, EMI, said the song was governed by the 1909 Copyright Act, which allows songs to be protected by law for 28 years, ruling out the right for the plaintif

Tami Roman Sued by Ex-Manager

"Basketball Wives" star Tami Roman was recently sued by her former manager for allegedly refusing to pay him for his services.

Jerry Silverhardt alleges he helped make Roman a celebrity, but she has never paid him, TMZ reported. The manager filed the lawsuit recently in L.A. County Superior Court, saying the reality show star fired him after taking advantage of his work.

"Mr. Silverhardt was terminated long ago and has been appropriately compensated for the personal management services he rendered," Roman told TMZ.

Britney Spears Sued By Security Detail

Pop star Britney Spears recently had a lawsuit filed against her by her former security guards, who allege Spears failed to pay them six months' salary.

TMZ reported that Advanced Security Concepts Corporation is suing the singer for $141,625 in unpaid wages after Spears' team fired the bodyguard company in 2010.

The security company alleges that Spears holds a grudge because she was sued by one of the company's former bodyguards, Fernando Flores.
