Court documents filed in L.A. County Superior Court recently obtained by TMZ showed that the couple was officially divorced on November 22 after being married for almost four years.

Singer Ashlee Simpson and musician Pete Wentz are now in a custody battle for their child, Brox Mowgli. Specific details of the divorce are being kept under wraps, but Wentz previously filed for joint custody of their son.

Judge Gives Approval of Beyonce Lawsuit

A judge recently ruled in favor of the plaintiff who is suing entertainer Beyonce for $100 million, giving approval for the video game company to proceed with the lawsuit.

According to the lawsuit, which was filed in April, Beyonce signed a contract with Gate Five LLC in June 2010 for a game called "Starpower: Beyonce," but later asked for a new deal and discontinued the project after it wasn't offered.

Rapper Soulja Boy, who has had his share of legal issues lately, recently filed a lawsuit against his former manager, alleging the manager took advantage of him when he was just starting out at 16 years old.

Soulja Boy, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, filed the documents in Georgia Superior Court recently against his former manager Philip Ransom, saying he was coerced early in his career into signing multiple contracts that he didn't fully understand.

Terrence Howard's wife recently filed court documents, alleging he has abused her since they were newlyweds.

According to the documents obtained by TMZ, Michelle Howard claims that her husband constantly beats and threatens to kill her. She said the abuse has occurred since seven days after they were married in January 2010.

In the court documents, Michelle contends that Howard "slugged me across my face and neck," in addition to threatening to throw her off a balcony, TMZ reported.
