Reality TV star and wife of Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian is the center of a recently filed lawsuit in which she's facing allegations of assault and battery.

According to the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Chantal Spears, who is a transgender woman previously known as Ronald Spears, alleges that Kardashian and 10 other defendants attacked her without provocation on December 5, 2009, at the Playhouse nightclub on Hollywood Boulevard.

Rhona Mitra, star of the TV show "The Practice," had a lawsuit filed against her recently, resulting from an accident in which she allegedly hit a motorcycle with her SUV.

According to court documents filed in L.A. Superior Court that were obtained by TMZ, Mitra was driving her 2002 Mercedes Benz G500 in Venice, California, in March, when she hit a motorcycle a woman was driving.

The victim alleges she was seriously injured from the accident and wants Mitra to pay for the damages she caused, TMZ reported.

Michael Fairman, soap opera star from the show "The Young and Restless," recently filed a lawsuit against a chiropractor he alleges refused to see him and his family after they were cast out from the Church of Scientology.

TMZ reported Fairman, whose career has spanned more than four decades, said that he was a prominent member of the church, but became turned off by the way activities were carried out within the community.

The church leaders became fed up with him earlier in the year, Fairman stated.

Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice is suing the buyers set to purchase his Northern California mansion, after they allegedly backed out of the deal last minute.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Rice alleges the prospective buyers of his Atherton, California, home did not close the deal in time, and he's asking to keep the $330,000 deposit placed on the home and retain possession of the mansion.

The buyers allegedly signed a contract in which they agreed to close the deal on the house by July 15, 2011, or else they would have to forfeit the $330,000 deposit

According to the lawsuit, Marley's half-brother, Richard Booker, has used the family name to sell concerts, energy drinks and alcoholic beverages.

Bob Marley's widow, Rita Marley, and his nine children recently filed the federal lawsuit for trademark infringement and unauthorized use of Marley's likeness.
