Sandra Bullock, star of the recent film "The Blind Side," has finalized her adoption of her young son, Louis, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
The Oscar-winning Bullock, who revealed in April that she and then-husband Jesse James had adopted Louis, recently received the news that the adoption was finalized at a hearing from a judge at the Jefferson Juvenile Justice Center in New Orleans, where the baby was born.
Bullock continued through the adoption process as a single parent after the actress split from James because of the reality television star's exposed infidelities, the Chronicle said. She also decided to move from California to Austin, Texas, to set up a new home for the child, according to the news provider.
Joined by friends and family at the finalization hearing in New Orleans, Bullock was reportedly very pleased with the completion of the process. A witness at the hearing told People Magazine that the actress "was happy... she is so in love with her child."
