Some believe that Tiger's possible divorce may be affecting his play
Tiger Woods’ roommate at Stanford, fellow professional golfer Notah Begay III, says that he isn’t surprised that the 14-time Major winner has struggled in his return to the game.

Begay told the Associated Press that having to address marital problems on a weekly basis in public is likely one of the reasons for Woods’ failure to win a tournament this year.

"He's like anybody else," Begay told the news source. "When somebody goes through a divorce, much less such a public one, it's going to be difficult for anybody to process what's going to happen, how they're going to cope and deal with things."

Woods has refused to confirm whether he has agreed to a divorce settlement with his wife, Elin.

Begay also spoke about the difficulty of the game of golf, especially when having to deal with personal issues.

"[Woods’] hitting it as solid as I've ever seen and just not able to put things together," Begay said. "That's just how difficult this game is, even for a guy of his talent level. When it can slip through his fingers like it has in the past few events, it's a pretty tough game."
