Jessalyn Gilsig, a star of the popular television series "Glee," has filed for divorce from her husband of nearly five years, TMZ.com reports.
Gilsig, who plays Terri Schuester on the show, has cited irreconcilable differences in her divorce from television and movie producer Bobby Salomon.
According to the divorce papers, filed recently in Los Angeles County Superior Court, the couple plan to enter a private marital settlement which will "divide all community assets and obligations," including a custody arrangement for their 4-year-old daughter.
Gilsig claims that the the couple has been split for nearly a year.
Salomon and Gilsig were prom dates in Montreal and had been married for almost five years, according to MTV.com.
Prior to starring in "Glee," Gilsig appeared regularly on "Boston Public." She has also appeared in multiple episodes of "NYPD Blue," "Friday Night Lights" and "Heroes" according to MTV. The actress is also in the films "Prom Night" and "The Stepfather."
For his part, Salomon was the executive producer of the television movie "15 Minutes," as well as short film "The Guest House" and "The Mallory Effect."
