Paul McCartney Will Not Sign Prenuptial Agreement With New Fiance

Music legend Paul McCartney, who was recently engaged to Nancy Shevell, will reportedly not be signing a prenuptial agreement, the Daily Mail reports.

According to the news provider, rather than a prenup, McCartney has asked his fiancee to simply sign a document that says in the case of a divorce, Shevell will not be allowed to stake claim to the trust funds of his children.

The news source cites one friend of McCartney, who explains that a possible reason the musician did not feel it was necessary to sign a prenuptial agreement is that Shevell, herself, comes from a very wealthy family.

"Nancy's father is richer than God," the friend told the news source. "She doesn't really need his cash."

In fact, according to the Daily Mail, Shevell's father has a multi-million dollar fortune thanks to his endeavors in the trucking business.

McCartney, a former member of the Beatles, was most recently married to Heather Mills, but the couple divorced in 2008.
