The Rhode Island House of Representatives recently approved legislation that granted more rights to individuals who had been adopted, as a bill was sent to the Senate for the final step in the legislative process.
After the House passed the bill for the third year in a row, the Senate once again stands in the way of its passage into law, according to the Providence Journal.
