Hospice and Home Care of Juneau (HHCJ), a hospice group based in the Alaskan capital, is currently holding its biggest annual fundraiser as part of its continued efforts to help people and their families dealing with end-of-life issues, reports the Juneau Empire.

According to the source, one of the important functions offered by HHCJ involves providing social workers to aid families in implementing living wills.

The fundraiser, called "Light Up a Life," is held each year between Thanksgiving and Christmas at the Nugget Mall in Juneau.

Clyde, Ohio's Memorial Hospital Golden Threads Program has announced that it will host a health seminar and luncheon on November 4 to celebrate Home Care Month and assist residents in creating living wills, the News-Messenger reports.
