A California judge recently ruled that Laura Govan, the former fiance of pro basketball star Gilbert Arenas, can appear on the VH1 reality show "Basketball Wives."

Arenas had sought to prevent Govan's appearance and block the show's broadcast by claiming her inevitable references to him would misappropriate his image and infringe on his trademarks.

Margaret Howell, the owner of a Huntington Beach, California, art gallery, has filed a lawsuit against Todd White, alleging the Spongebob Squarepants animator turned art world darling hired thugs who assaulted her and stole from her gallery and home.

Howell's suit says she arranged to meet White's representatives at her gallery on the evening of August 2, but when she arrived, they assaulted her and held her captive while ransacking her files.

Kim Kardashian has filed a lawsuit against Old Navy over a television advertisement that features a model bearing a striking resemblance to the reality television star.

The lawsuit is seeking damages for an unspecified amount and includes a clause that would ban Old Navy from using a model who resembles Kardashian in future advertisements.

A lawsuit between former cast members of the television show Happy Days and TV network CBS is heating up, according to CNN.

CNN reports four Happy Days cast members, as well as the widow of late cast member Tom Bosley, filed suit recently against CBS, alleging the network has not been paying them the percentage of merchandising revenues guaranteed in their contracts.
