NON-PROVISIONAL PATENT APPLICATION

An application for patent which is examined by a patent examiner and is either allowed (resulting in issuance of the patent) or not allowed. A non-provisional application must be filed within twelve months of a provisional application's filing date in order to benefit from the earlier filing date.
