1. To request a refund, simply call us toll-free at (800) 773-0888 during our normal business hours. Unfortunately, we can't refund money charged by the government like court charges, filing fees and taxes or other third-party out-of-pocket costs incurred while preparing and filing your documents. Simply return all of the documents and material sent to you, and we will process your refund within 5 business days of receipt. All refund requests must be made within 60 days of purchase.

Or, for example, the government may reject trademark applications for legal reasons beyond the scope of LegalZoom's service.
