Tell us a little about your product or service.
I offer ladies and girls accessories and home decor items. All with a Romantic, yet trendy feel to them. Personalized services such as favors and gift wrapping and hand-painted items, and photo transfer items are all in the works.
How did you start your company?
I started my company during my divorce. It started out as a distraction from the stress. I have always loved retail, and the idea of having my own business.
I want my store to have a certain feeling...
What or who inspired you to go into business for yourself?I had a need to find my own identity again after a long marriage. I am an educated, creative individual, and needed to harness that into something positive.
What were some of the startup hurdles you overcame?
I had to learn to strike a balance between being a stay at home mom to 3 kids ranging from 6 months (at that time) to 9 (at that time). I couldn't do anything additional to upset their security in having me home with them. I also had to learn quite a bit about html programming and about the internet and advertising. I still read everyday to continue learning.

LegalZoom's staff has been incredible in answering my questions about business start-up. Very informative and always going the extra mile to answer my questions. I would refer anyone to this service. I also think that they are reasonably priced for the service. They saved me so much time & legwork.
Description
I want my store to have a certain feeling. Trendy with wide appeal, yet somehow Old-fashioned & Romantic. I know the items when I see them. Items fall into 2 categories. Home Decor and Accessories for women and girls. Newly introduced are the party favors which are handled entirely by personal consultation so I can assess the need, and make the customer happy. Also hand-painted home decor & photo transfer gifts are coming soon. Both favor and regularly purchased items are wrapped beautifully, and with pride. This store, named after my only daughter is a labor of love; I hope she can work here with me someday. My most recent feedback is "perfect. thank you." I hope all my shoppers agree, as I work very hard to make them all feel special.
