Tell us a little about your product or service.
We offer private and group music lessons in piano, voice, guitar, and most band and orchestra instruments.
How did you start your company?
My husband and I originally started our company in the recreation room of our home. As we grew, we then rented space in churches and finally, decided to open our first commercial location almost 2 years ago.

What or who inspired you to go into business for yourself?We have always dreamed of owning our own business, but it wasn't until we attended a seminar given by Mayron Cole, a music curriculum developer, that we had the confidence to move forward.
What were some of the startup hurdles you overcame?
Funding the purchase of musical instruments, and then later, our commercial location.
How has LegalZoom helped you in starting up your business?
LegalZoom made it very easy and fast for us to form an LLC and to apply and receive a trademark for our business name.
Description
Keyboard for Kids & More! is where learning music is fun! We offer music lessons in: piano, voice, guitar, and most band and orchestra instruments. We are passionate about making music education accessible to as many people as possible, from preschoolers to seniors. We believe that most people can learn to play a musical instrument if given the opportunity to take lessons that make it enjoyable, rather than intimidating. Music is a great way to not only express emotions, but is proven to have positive and lasting effects on the brain.
