Tell us a little about your product or service.
The Kyle David Group provides clients with a firm foundation on how to promote themselves or their product online, while showing them how to manage their technology in a way that is conducive to their own client management and customer support. We target companies that are traditionally "off-line" and develop a custom-crafted solution to help them improve their business, gain and retain more clients, and improve their bottom line.
How did you start your company?
The company started as a part time venture throughout my college days and quickly forced me to leave college early (with a degree) to pursue the development of the company full-time.
Founded by young business prodigy, Kyle Kappel, The Kyle David Group has divisions targeting online product branding, development, and marketing as well as a subsidiary that targets "in-dorm" computer support in the untapped college market...
What or who inspired you to go into business for yourself?My grandfather and great entrepreneur, William A. Nelson, has always been my business inspiration. Though he has passed away, the pictures of him in my office are a constant reminder of the American Dream.
What were some of the startup hurdles you overcame?
I think the biggest hurdle that I had to overcome to date has been my young age. It can be a bit disheartening to a client to realize that I have their business in my youthful hands. However, to date we have yet to have a client who has not referred another client within 6 months of working with us. That is a bold statement and one I am privileged to be able to say.
