If you filed an Intent-To-Use trademark application before you began using your trademark in commerce, the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) requires a Statement of Use filing to demonstrate that you are in fact using your mark to sell goods and services.
Usually, the deadline for a Statement of Use filing is 6 months from the date the USPTO issued you a Notice of Allowance (a conditional approval of your Intent-To-Use trademark application).
However, if you do not plan to use your trademark in commerce within this time frame, you can request 6-month extensions for your Statement of Use filing.
You can view the date the USPTO issued your Notice of Allowance by visiting http://portal.uspto.gov/external/portal/tow and entering your USPTO serial number.
