1. Trademark Statement of Use Extension

If you filed an Intent-To-Use Trademark before you began using your mark in commerce, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) requires a Statement of Use filing. This filing demonstrates that you are in fact using your mark to sell goods and services.

Secure Your Trademark Today!

Usually, the deadline for a Statement of Use filing is 6 months from the date the USPTO issued you a Notice of Allowance (a conditional approval of your trademark application). However, if you do not plan to use your trademark in commerce within this time frame, you can request a 6-month extension for your Statement of Use filing.

You can view the date the USPTO issued your mark's Notice of Allowance by visiting http://portal.uspto.gov/external/portal/tow and entering your USPTO Serial Number.
