Along with your Trademark Renewal application, you must provide (1) a filing fee for each class of goods or services and (2) a specimen showing use of the mark for each class of goods or services. Your Trademark Renewal application includes a sworn statement signed by you (or someone authorized to sign for you), attesting to the use of your mark in commerce.
The USPTO maintains these requirements to ensure trademark owners are actively using their mark to sell goods or services.
