About

Hi, I am James Kennedy. I’m an attorney who enjoys demystifying the world of law to those with legal issues, particularly in the areas of criminal law and personal injury. As an attorney, I have learned how important it is to be an effective communicator to my clients and to be able to adapt and respond to client needs rapidly and thoroughly.

Thinking quickly, I have covered a mediation due to an attorney’s injury and managed to secure a $130,000 settlement in a premises liability case with only 30 minutes of preparation. I help my clients by being a good listener and ask the questions required to best understand a client’s needs.

When not practicing law, I am usually model building and painting or enjoying time with my wife and daughter. I also like military history and collect antique firearms.

Why I Practice Law
I was initially introduced to the world of the law through my passion for collecting antique firearms. The regulations surrounding the ownership of firearms caused me to become familiar with state laws and federal regulations long before I considered a career in law.
Fun Fact
I am also a practitioner of Historic European Martial Arts with a focus on the German Longsword.
