About

Hi, I’m Kate Beck. No two situations are alike and neither are our clients; I make it a point to give legal advice that is not only practical, but personalized to each client.

The best part about practicing real estate, estates and trusts, and business law is that they all work together for nearly every client.

In my time as an attorney, one of the skills I have developed is putting myself in the shoes of the client and throwing myself into the problem-solving process.

I am proud that I have been able to assist clients in helping southeastern Michigan recover from the real estate recession we experienced early in my career.  In working with these clients, we have been able to provide assistance to small businesses that were otherwise trapped in unfavorable financial conditions.  These businesses were able to survive and not only are their businesses thriving but their real property values have recovered.

I provide my clients with reasonable advice; advice I would want to receive myself if in their position.  Outside of my law practice, I spend my time with my family, whether it is biking on Belle Isle in Detroit, convincing them to assist in one of my home improvement projects, or heading to a cottage for a relaxing weekend, we always find something we enjoy in Michigan.

Why I Practice Law
I could have been a student forever; I was inspired to practice law because the law is always changing, meaning my work changes and keeps me learning.
Fun Fact
Before going to law school, I considered a career in architecture and spent my time learning historical architectural elements, drafting and sketching.
