Hi, I’m Kevin. My attention to detail and a keen eye in determining patentable aspects of an invention allows me to excel in the world of patent law. Further, I recognize my client’s passion for their inventions and deliver quality patent applications to meet their expectations.
Throughout my extensive career as a patent attorney, I have learned the importance of a properly conducted negotiation. Growing a rapport with an Examiner by conducting Examiner interviews can significantly expedite the patent prosecution process.
Overcoming Office Action rejections from the Patent Office is of the utmost importance to me and my clients. The most rewarding aspect of my career is obtaining allowances from the Patent Office and delivering the good news to my clients.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis, golf and softball. I am also a proficient skier and try to make it out to the mountains as much as possible.
I have always had an interest in science and technology. Practicing patent law allows me to work with unique and exciting inventions in a vast array of technologies.
My father is also a patent attorney, and when I was a child I had a unique way of hitting a tennis ball. My father applied for and acquired the patent on my tennis stroke. The name of the patent is “Method of executing a tennis stroke” and the patent number is 5,993,336. The patent has since expired.
