Business, Estate Planning, Family & Personal

Hi, I’m Lary. I am looking back over 35+ years of law practice, and I realize that I can see the results of my work all over this community. There are businesses that I helped to succeed, families that I helped through difficult problems, and institutions that I helped put in place to serve the public for many years to come.  It’s rewarding to walk down the street and interact with all the people I’ve met.

People’s lives follow a thousand different paths, and I have learned useful life tools from lots of my clients.  The experiences I had with clients early in my carrier are now becoming the solutions that my clients today are seeking.

One of the most important things I have learned is that most problems can be solved if people are willing to look at them from all points of view, and then be willing to compromise. Something that makes me especially proud is when other lawyers call me for advice about their cases. That happens most often in my probate and estate planning practice.

If I can’t do anything else for a client, at least I know that I can help them understand the legal principles that apply to their problem, so that they can begin to put their life back on the right path.

When I am not at the office, you will probably find me visiting my 7 children and 12 grandchildren, or doing chores on the farm where we raised them.

Why I Practice Law

My inspiration to practice law came from my father, who was a lawyer, and who was my hero and example my whole life.

Fun Fact

When you get to know me, you will probably find out that I am a closet political junkie. Someday, I’m going to make a difference in the world.
