About

Hi, I’m Tracy Myers. I take pride in going above and beyond for each customer, and I will never treat your call as though it is my 10th estate planning conference of the day – even if it is! While I do a little bit of everything, my practice heavily revolves around business startups, trademarks, and estate planning.

One of the biggest skills I’ve been able to polish as an attorney is patience – lawyers often have to repeat ourselves, explain things in multiple ways, deal with understandably frustrated clients, and research questions that do not have immediate answers.

I absolutely love being an attorney, and I would say my most impactful moments of service were while I was clerking for the Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands.  Because there is so little binding case or common law in the Virgin Islands, some of the opinions I wrote under the guidance of my judge helped establish still standing law within the jurisdiction.  Talk about having a real effect on your home and legal community!

I like working with LegalZoom customers because I know that for many people, LegalZoom is their only opportunity to speak with an actual attorney – many new businesses, trademark seekers, and families setting up estate planning documents simply cannot afford good legal services, and LegalZoom is a great way to fill in that gap.  Outside of work, I love traveling, hiking, riding my bike to work, spending time with family, and running.

Why I Practice Law
I wanted to become a lawyer because I love helping my community while also having to learn new things on a daily basis – it never gets boring!
Fun Fact
I love pancakes. And diners. And especially eating pancakes at diners.
