LegalZoom’s “What’s Your Story?” Video Contest Puts Customers in the National Spotlight

(Los Angeles, CA – October 7, 2009) –Since LegalZoom.com launched in 2001, more than one million customers have discovered a more convenient and affordable way to take care of common legal needs like wills, living trusts, name changes, copyrights, trademarks, patents, and business incorporations (including LLC formation). If you’re one of LegalZoom’s customers, your personal story just may win you some cash and some valuable national media exposure.

Now through November 20, 2009, LegalZoom invites customers to submit a video sharing their personal story and how LegalZoom helped them in the process. Did you take that first step towards financial independence by starting a business and forming a Corporation? Did you finally create a Last Will and trust to protect your family? Did you change your name and become a pop star? Customers who used any LegalZoom product or service on or before August 20, 2009 can enter. Videos will be posted to a special page, and visitors can vote for their favorite entries.  One grand prize winner and two runner-ups will be announced on December 20, 2009 and will receive cash prizes up to $5,000 plus a chance to be featured in LegalZoom’s next TV commercial.
