California immediately remove a trustee?
Cody R Cooper ∙ August 12, 2019
The answer depends on whether or not the trust establishing the trustee is revocable or irrevocable. If the trust is revocable, then the trustee can be changed via an amendment to the trust. If the trust is irrevocable, then the trustee cannot be removed immediately because any changes to the trust requires court approval. It is important to note that if the people who created the trust passed on, the trust is irrevocable.
