How can I find if my deceased cousin had a legal zoom will?
Bryan Zlimen ∙ July 2, 2019
Generally the only way to know if someone had a Will is to try to find the document or a copy of it. If your cousin ordered a Will from LegalZoom, there is a chance that he or she could have stored an image of it in LegalZoom's digital vault, so you could try calling LegalZoom's Customer Care team to inquire about that. Be mindful that the Will would only be valid if it were property executed by signing in front of proper witnesses/notary, so you would be looking for an executed document, not just whether the person ordered a Will. Common places a Will might be stored would include a safe deposit box at your cousin's bank, a safe in your cousin's home, or any other place your cousin may have kept important papers.
