How can I get out of a timeshare?
Amy Hutchens ∙ September 21, 2019
Although it's very rare, a few companies will buy back a timeshare. More commonly, the timeshare company will sell it for you or there are companies that resell timeshares. Proceed with extreme caution because there are usually very high fees involved with this option. Check out the reputation of any company you are considering with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's office in your state. Have an attorney licensed in your state review your timeshare contract to see if there is any legal basis you can use to exit the contract.
