I have been married for 25 years to an American citizen. Unfortunatley, for the last 4 or 5 years, he has been at a nursing home. Because of it, I have spent long periods in my homecountry because my son was living there, but I never spent more than 9 months there. One year ago, my son, who is also an American citizen, started working in the US and we moved up here, and have been living here so far. Becoming an American citizen has be a cherished dream of mine, which have been postponed because of the many problems I had to go through. Now that I have been living here in the US with my son for 1 year and am still married when can I apply for my citizenship?
