A few years back a neighbor sold us a lot that had been attached to his property. It was surveyed and marked and as soon as we had the paperwork signed my wife and I paid to have a chain link fence installed both to keep his dog out and keep our kids in! Their home was sold, demolished and a new house built. While they were building we allowed them to take down the fence to get equipment in to finish the house. They built the home over further so the edge of the house is on the property line. Today I noticed they have put up a stockade type wooden fence. They did this by attaching it ( using U shaped hooks through the fence and onto the pole that runs along the top of our fence ). While I plan on heading over to speak to them directly I figured I'd get your take on this action and if they have any right to do such a thing.
